The Bible does not merely
endorse stoning to death – it demands it.
Dreamer of Dreams? Death for YOU!
"And that prophet,
or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put
to death ... thou shalt surely kill
him."
– Deuteronomy
13.5,9.

Does "Jesus" agree
with this savage version of "justice"?
"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets:
I am not
come to destroy, but to fulfil."

Dignity of Man?
"Buy
and Sell Slaves" says God
"As for your male
and female slaves whom you may have: you may buy male and female
slaves from the nations that are round about you.
You may also buy from
among the strangers who sojourn with you and their families that
are with you, who have been born in your land; and they may be your
property.
You may bequeath them
to your sons after you, to inherit as a possession forever; you may
make slaves of them, but over your brethren the people of Israel
you shall not rule, one over another, with harshness."
– Leviticus 25.44
Get out!
But the Woman and Kids Stay!
"When you purchase
a Hebrew slave ... his service will last for six years. In the seventh
year he will leave a free man.
If his master gives
him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the wife and children
will belong to the master, and he will depart alone."
– Exodus 21.2,4.
Attach
him to the Door!
"But if the slave
says to you, 'I do not want to leave you' ... then you must take
an awl and drive it through the slave's ear and into the door.
He
will be your servant forever."
– Deuteronomy 15.16,17

"If a man has sex with his father's wife, both are certainly be put to
death. Their blood is on their own heads ...
If a man has sex with his sister, the daughter of either his father
or his mother, it is an outrage. They will be executed in public."
–
Leviticus 20.11,17.
On
the Other Hand – Compulsory Sex with Your Sister-in-Law
"But if the man
refuses to take his brother's wife, she must go to the elders and say,
'He refuses to fulfil the duty of a brother to me' ... then the woman
must take the sandal off his foot, spit in his face, and say, 'This
is what is done to the man who will not restore his brother's family
line.' "

Sex at the Wrong Time of the Month?
"And if a man shall

and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain,
and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall

Murder, rape, pillage, plunder, slavery, child abuse – its all that
horrid book ...
Biblical
morality is archaic and savage. It reflects a barbarous, pitiless
age and a tribal, slave-based
society, a time when "elders" and priests ruled desperately
primitive villages and nomadic or semi-nomadic clans. The Romans
regarded Judaism as a primitive religion – and it was.
The
legacy scarcely improved when repackaged as Christianity,
for all the nonsense talked about "love" and heroic self-sacrifice.
Indeed, as political need presented itself, the Christians
turned increasingly
to the corpus of Judaism
to justify
every
vicious act.
The New Testament,
with its skimpy biography of a humanoid god and eclectic
collection
of letters,
meant the practitioners of Christ, raised up as "elders"
and priests of a decaying world, drew heavily upon the Old
Testament
and its rich compendium of inhumanity
and
intolerance.
What's Love Got
to do With IT?
'Love' appears
310 times in the Bible but that's out of a total
of more than three-quarters of a million words. But 'fun' and 'happiness' appear
not at all. 'Freedom' appears just twice, once
when Paul claims to be free born (Acts 22.27,28)
and once when Leviticus advises the thrashing
of a raped slave:
"And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman,
that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and
not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she
shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death,
because she was not free." – Leviticus 19.20.
'Laughed' shows
up just 13 times whereas 'cried' puts in 199
appearances, which figures since 'birth' is
there 15 times but 'death' no fewer than 372
times; 'enemies' outnumbers 'friends' 270
to 49, and so it goes on. Just in case anyone should
miss the general tenor of this horrid book Ecclesiastes
(7.1,4) spells it out:
"A good name is better than precious
ointment; and the day of death than the day of
ones birth."
"It is better to go to the house
of mourning, than to go to the house
of feasting: "
"Sorrow is better than laughter:
for by the sadness of the countenance the
heart is made better."
"The heart of fools is in the house
of mirth."

Jehovah: Not

"And
the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Speak unto Aaron, saying,
Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any
blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his
God.
For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach:
a blind man, or a lame, or he that
hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,
Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,
Or crookback, or a dwarf, or that
hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy,
or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;
No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come
nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath
a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his
God.
He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the
holy. Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the
altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries:
for I the LORD do sanctify them.
And Moses told it unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children
of Israel."
– Leviticus 21:16,24.

Biblical Injustices
Some
of the acts for which the good book demands summary
execution include:
striking or
cursing your parents
"And
he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be
surely put to death ... And he that curseth
his father, or his mother, shall surely be put
to death." –
Exodus 21.15,17.
being
a gluttonous or drunken son
"And
they shall say unto the elders of his city, This
our son is stubborn and rebellious,
he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and
a drunkard. And all the men of his city shall stone
him with stones, that he die." –
Deuteronomy 21.20,21.
being a false
prophet and following another religion
"And
that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams,
shall be put to death ... Thou shalt not consent unto him,
nor hearken
unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt
thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: But thou shalt
surely kill him." –
Deuteronomy 13.5,9.
kindling a fire
(or any other work) on the sabbath
"Six
days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there
shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest
to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put
to death." – Exodus
35.2,31.14.
sex with a beast
"Whosoever
lieth with a beast shall surely be put
to death." –
Exodus 22.19.
enjoying
a threesome with your wife and mother-in-law
"And
if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt
with fire, both he and they; that
there be no wickedness among you." – Leviticus
20.14.
approaching
a holy candlestick
"And
they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of all the
tabernacle: only they shall not come nigh
the vessels of the sanctuary and the altar, that neither
they, nor ye also, die." – Numbers
18.3.
passing
yourself off as a virgin bride when youre not
"But if this thing be true, and the tokens
of virginity be not found for the damsel: Then they
shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s
house, and the men of her city shall stone her
with stones that she die." –
Deuteronomy 22.20,21.
failing to listen
to a priest
"And
the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken
unto the priest that standeth to minister there
before the LORD thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall
die: and thou shalt put away the evil from
Israel." – Deuteronomy
17.12.
Not

being
a witch or a wizard
"Thou
shalt not suffer a witch
to live." – Exodus
22.18
"A man
also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that
is a
wizard, shall surely be put to death: they
shall stone them with stones: their blood shall
be upon them." – Leviticus 20:27.
being a rape
victim but not crying out loud enough
"If
a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband,
and a man find her in the city, and lie with
her; Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of
that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they
die; the damsel, because she cried
not, being in the city." –
Deuteronomy 22.23,24.
being a homosexual
"If
a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman,
both of them have committed an abomination: they
shall surely be put to death; their
blood shall be upon them." –
Leviticus 20.13.
uttering
Yahwehs
(secret) name!
"And
he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, he shall surely
be put to death, and
all the congregation shall certainly stone him." – Leviticus 24. 13,16.
On the other hand,
bringing about a slaves death by beating
with a stick so long as he lingers for a
day or two does not require punishment!
"And
if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod,
and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.
Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall
not
be punished: for he is his money." – Exodus
21.20,21.
Contrast this with
the summary execution required for selling a stolen
slave!
"And
he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be
found in his hand, he shall surely be put
to death." – Exodus
21.16
Cavallino Lot and his lusty daughters

of Lot with child by their father."

Lot's
daughters think no one else in the world is alive
apart from them and their dad.
The

Inevitably, both girls get pregnant and produce sons.
One boy is called Moab, the other Ben-ammi,
lesser humans than their Jewish grandad because they
are the result of an 'unholy union'.
Lo
and behold! Moab, it seems, is the
ancestor of the Moabites and Ben-ammi the
father of the Ammonites.
Now
it just so happens Moab and Ammon were Arab kingdoms

A
Good Book?? Biblical
basis for Black Slavery
Noah celebrated
the end of the flood by getting roaring drunk, stripping
off and dancing naked (alright, so far). His son Ham made
the mistake of catching sight of him. An indignant Noah cursed Ham (and
his son Canaan) for this, turned him BLACK
and exiled him to Africa. Thereafter, Ham and
his descendents were doomed to 'hew wood and
draw water' for his more fortunate white
brothers.
"And
Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger
son had done unto him. And he said, Cursed be
Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto
his brethren. And he said, Blessed be the LORD
God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell
in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be
his servant. "
– Genesis 9:24-27.
An
old Jewish legend speculates on the cause of African
physical features:
"The descendants of
Ham... have red eyes, because Ham looked upon the nakedness
of his father; they have misshapen lips, because Ham
spoke with his lips to his brothers about the unseemly
condition of his father; they have twisted curly hair,
because Ham turned and twisted his head round to see
the nakedness of his father; and they go about naked,
because Ham did not cover the nakedness of his father."
